Choosing a training provider can be a difficult decision, particularly if you’re changing careers, or entering a whole new industry. If you want to learn at your own pace, without any looming deadlines and additional pressures, a subscription model might be best for you.
At Eagle Education, we offer a subscription to courses for AAT, ACCA, and CIMA, giving you the flexibility that you desire when studying.
Let’s have a look at where each qualification can take you.
If you’re a recent school leaver, or just want a career change, the AAT qualification is a great starting point. You can study AAT with no previous accounting experience, so you won’t be thrown right into the deep end while you strengthen your knowledge.
Studying AAT with Eagle will provide you with the technical skills needed to pursue a career in accounting. Speak to AAT about which level you should begin from, and then you can subscribe to the Distance Learning course and get right into your studies.
The subscription will provide you with access to online study materials and high-quality videos for the complete AAT syllabus, plus a personal mentor and access to expert tutor support seven days a week. So you can study at your own pace but won’t be left on your own if you need help on the trickier topics, or just some support with your course.
AAT is a globally recognised qualification, which offers strong job prospects in a variety of industries. Even without any previous qualifications or accountancy experience, you could earn up to £40,000 within a few years of qualifying.
Some examples of careers that you can go into with the AAT qualification include:
Gaining your ACCA qualification is perfect if you want to progress your career and become a chartered certified accountant, or if you already work in an accountancy, tax, or audit firm.
However, you can still study ACCA without any experience. The Foundation Diploma in Accounting and Business is the best place to start. You’ll need to have relevant work experience when studying, and the qualification will teach you the principles of accounting at a more advanced level than what you would learn from AAT. Studying ACCA with the Eagle subscription will provide you with resources similar to AAT, such as ACCA-accredited online study materials that explore each area clearly, and the same mentor and tutor support so you’re not alone.
The qualification will open doors to amazing salaries and accounting career opportunities around the world. After completing the final level, you will become a chartered accountant with a world-leading ACCA designation, and an internationally recognised MSc – nothing is out of reach for an ACCA member.
The ACCA qualification could land you a career as a:
CIMA accounting qualifications are recognised worldwide, offering a wide range of job prospects across several industries. With CIMA, you can develop your skills to progress in finance departments, and find wider opportunities in business leadership or management accounting roles.
With no prior experience, it is a good idea to start from the Certificate in Business Accounting level, which will provide you with the foundations to boost your career.
CIMA can be a difficult qualification, but it is worth it, and we strive to make your journey much easier for you. As with all Eagle courses, you can expect flexibility, access to all four CIMA levels as well as high-quality online study resources and videos, and mentor and tutor support if you need it.
Once you are CIMA qualified, the average salary is around £63,000 a year.
